Most Requested Vol. 1

It is a distinct pleasure to be asked to offer some comments on Winston James latest CD release featuring some of his most requested songs from over 40 years of entertaining fans with his music.

His resume includes TV in Sherbrooke, Quebec in the ’60’s to road bands all over Canada and the U.S.A., The Wheeling W. VA Jamboree, several major TV shows including The Family Brown, Ray Griff, and Elwood Glover.

Winston has also had nationally charted records and has opened shows for major acts like Tex Ritter, Faron Young, Tammy Wynette, and the list goes on.  Recently, Winston has been dividing his time between Ontario and the Southern United States.

Winston is a talented vocalist and versatile musician on lead, bass guitar, and the fiddle.  I believe in this modern day of “cookie cutter” singers that you’ll find this selection of his most requested songs distinct, varied, and enjoyable including selections like “All of Me”, “The Last Farewell”, and “My Way”, a pleasant addition to your music library from a sincere person who is serious about his music.
